از زمان مقالهٔ نیومن‌جانیس، ما یک تبدیل مختلط مختصاتی هیجان‌انگیز را می‌شناسیم که پاسخ شوارتزشیلد را به کر و رایسنر-نوردستروم را به کر-نیومن می‌نگارد. همچنین، یک تبدیل مشابه، میدان کولن را به یک میدان الکترومغناطیسی شگفت‌انگیز به نام «میدان جادویی» می‌نگارد.
سایر تبدیل‌های مختلط مختصاتی، یا تبدیل‌های ترکیبی پارامتری-مختصاتی، پاسخ‌های نظریه انیشتین-ماکسول را به یکدیگر می‌نگارد.
من قصد دارم برخی از این تبدیل‌ها را مرور کنم و راجع به تبدیل نیومن-جانیس و همچنین تبدیلات مختلط دیگری که تحت آن پاسخ کر-نات پایستا می‌ماند، توضیحاتی ارائه کنم.

Title: On complex coordinate transformations

Abstract:
Since the Newman-Janis paper, we know an exciting complex coordinate transformation that maps Schwarzschild solution to Kerr and Reissner–Nordström to Kerr-Newman. A similar transformation maps the Coulomb field to a fascinating electromagnetic field dubbed “the magic field”. Other complex coordinate or mixed parameter-coordinate transformations map solutions of Einstein-Maxwell theory into each other. I review some of these transformations and comment on the Newman-Janis as well as another complex transformation that preserves the Kerr-NUT set of solutions.
